Asian London Broil

Ingredients:
  • 2 tbsp. sesame oil
  • 3 tbsp. brown sugar 
  • 1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and minced 
  • 1/3 cup light soy sauce 
  • 1 tbsp. dry sherry 
  • 1 clove garlic, minced 
  • 2 lbs. London broil steak

How to prepare:

Combine first six ingredients in a small bowl. Place meat in a glass casserole just large enough to fit. Pour marinade over meat. Refrigerate for 2 to 8 hours, turning meat often. Set oven rack 3 inches from broiler. If meat is thicker place 4 inches from broiler. Preheat broiler. Broil to desired doneness. Slice thinly at a 45 degree angle against the grain. Serve with steamed broccoli and a baked potato. Enjoy!
